Workshop Synopsis Leaders need to make critical decisions, provide sound advice and evaluate other people’s decisions. Today’s environment has become even more fast-paced and increasingly complex, and decisions need to be made under severe time constraints and with insufficient information. The two-day workshop will cover four main areas of strategic decision making, namely leading strategic decision making, decision analysis and quality, decision making for innovation and risk management and collaborative decision making. The objective of the workshop is to help participants avoid common decision traps, increase sophistication in exercising judgment and thinking more strategically. The participants should be able to design more effective decision processes and promote more cooperative decision making to generate better outcomes. The participants should also be better at identifying the right question and learn to apply the appropriate frameworks and avoid over-analysing. By transforming risk into opportunity, the participant can eventually facilitate the integration of strategic thinking, judgement, data and decision making.
Who Should Attend? Principals and Vice Principals who want to improve their decision-making skills to be used to drive better educational outcomes
